Miguel is the child of two surrealist artists: Alice Lipizzi and Marianna di Majo Norante
Miguel is a surreal short film that imagines a distant future where plants expand endlessly, reclaiming the ruins of human civilization. Millennia away from our time, Miguel is a fragment — a silent dialogue between spectral beings dressed in surreal garments and the forsaken place they inhabit. They converse with a house consumed by nature, swallowed by wild leaves and unruly vegetation. It is the end of time. The ghosts of this non-place are eternal, yet fragile.
A fleeting sprite, darting and mischievous — tick, tack, tick, tack.
Two lovers, woven of desire and fragility, suspended between the eternal and the ephemeral.
Twins, bound in duality, blind yet seers of time itself.
